Announcement on the Completion of Share Transfer and Company Renaming
Honda Lock Mfg. Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Honda Lock”), the parent company of Honda Lock Thai Co., Ltd., has entered into a share transfer agreement involving Honda Lock between Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Honda”), the shareholder of Honda Lock, and MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “MinebeaMitsumi”). The share acquisition was executed on January 27, 2023, in accordance with the announcement titled “Agreement on Share Transfer of the Company” dated August 4, 2022.
As a result, Honda Lock has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of MinebeaMitsumi. Moving forward, Honda Lock will leverage the diverse core technologies accumulated by the MinebeaMitsumi Group to strengthen its Access product business and enhance its position as a leading automotive parts manufacturer.
On March 1, 2023, Honda Lock Thai Co., Ltd. officially changed its company name to Minebea AccessSolutions Thai Ltd.
